9 cabinet cards of Garfield family members including a striking portrait of James A. Garfield by E. Bierstadt, new York; Mrs. Lucretia Garfield; James Garfield, Jr.; Mollie Garfield; and others. -- 5 1/8 x 7 in. albumen photograph on slightly larger cardstock mount, featuring a Garfield memorial display in a store window with signage reading "T. W. Norman & Co." -- 4 stereoviews, including 2 cabinet-sized examples featuring the Garfield funeral car with two African American attendants wearing top hats by Ryder, Cleveland, OH; and 2 views of buildings draped in mourning including one building with banner reading "He Gave His Honor to the World Again. His Blessed Part to Heaven and Sleeps in Peace." -- Together, 14 photographs.
