[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Two daguerreotypes of families, incl. oversized portrait by McClees and Germon, Philadelphia.
Oversized full plate daguerreotype group portrait of seven men and women, seated and standing together in two rows. (Significant tarnishing to edges, with some spotting and scratching and additional imperfections to plate, no preserver present.) Mat stamped "MCCLEES & GERMON." Housed in a fully separated leatherette case (split at spine, surface wear/loss). -- Half plate daguerreotype family portrait featuring a mother and father, affectionately posed with their two children. (Significant tarnishing and discoloration, some occasional spotting, spotting and oxidation to mat and preserver.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (split at spine, surface wear, some discoloration). -- Together, 2 daguerreotypes.
