[PORTRAITURE]. Portraiture through the ages: silhouettes, miniatures, and photographic portraits. 

Hand-painted miniature portrait of a distinguished woman by V. Day, 3 3/8 x 2 1/2 in. -- Brooch containing hand-painted miniature portrait of a gentleman, with hair sample enclosed on reverse side, 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 in. overall. -- 4 hand-cut silhouettes, each framed for display, ranging in size from 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 in. to 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 in. (sight). -- Full standing, hand-colored photographic portrait of a young girl wearing a white dress and large white bow atop her head, 29 1/2 x 15 1/2 in. (sight), housed in decorative frame, 35 x 18 in. overall. -- Lithographed portrait of a sweet young girl, 13 3/4 x 11 in. (sight), housed in decorative frame, 19 x 16 in. overall. -- Lithographed scene showing three beautifully-dressed girls of jumping rope, 11 1/2 x 17 1/2 in. (sight), matted and framed, 19 x 25 in. overall. Likely a later printing of a late 19th century print.
