Georges Mendel. Paris, France, ca 1905.

In the early part of the twentieth century several camera companies manufactured folding wooden strut cameras which afforded the photographer a compact hand-and-stand camera. in France, Georges Mendel made a very popular model with folding wooden struts. This Mendel camera comes with its original canvas case, its viewfinder, three plate holders, bubble level, nameplate, brass lens, and working sector shutter. The maroon leather bellows are in excellent condition.
