Replica chamfered box half plate daguerreotype camera, rosewood veneer, size 8 1/2 in. wide x 8 1/8 in. high x 15 1/2 in. deep (not including lens). Underside signed "R.W. Lisle, 1989." With original lens marked "J.H. Dallmeyer" and cap. With replica daguerreotype tripod handcrafted in wood by Robert W. Lisle, signed and dated, "Ca 1984, R.W. Lisle." Height 37 in.
[With:] Plate box with modern label identified to "Benjamin French, Importer and Dealer in Daguerreotype Apparatus...Boston, Mass." Contains half plate daguerreotype plate and mat. Size 4 1/2 x 5 x 6 3/4 in.
