Provenance: Lawrence Edmunds (recipient of inscription), presumably the Hollywood bookseller who founded Larry Edmunds Bookshop in 1938, and was noted for having famous literary patrons frequent his store, such as William Faulkner; sold, Waverly Auctions, 8 December 1988, lot 258.
