This iconic image of Lyndon B. Johnson being sworn in aboard Air Force One, with First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy at his side, was taken just hours after the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The hand of Press Secretary Malcolm Kilduff can be seen holding a dictaphone toward Johnson in an effort to record the event.
