Haudenosaunee Quilled Hide Pouch
late 18th century

thread sewn, softly-tanned hide; quilled using one-thread, one-quill sewing technique; one side designed with double-curve motifs surrounding a sunburst design, opposite with a directional wheel; blue silk ribbon trim; polished cotton lining

length 7-1/2 inches x width 7-1/2 inches
