Katsushika Hokusai (Japanese, 1760-1849), Two Woodblock Prints
(Japanese, 1760-1849)

Unframed, Comprising: Hara: Three Ri and Six Cho to Yoshiwara and Kambara, with Kyoka Poem, circa 1804; and Kambara, from the series Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido, circa 1805-6

Note:
Hara is a rare first edition example of this print which includes the kyoka poem. This was part of a set, often known as the "Surimono Tokaido", created for a kyoka club, later examples omit the poetry.
Height 5 1/8 in., 13 cm., width 14 in., 35.5 cm.; Height 8 7/8 in., 22.5 cm., Width 6 3/8 in., 16.2 cm.
