A Japanese Gosu Blue-Decorated Satsuma Jar, Kyokusan, and Associated Silver Cover, Meiji Period
Late Meijing Period
The ovoid body resting on three short tripod feet, the exterior decorated with chrysanthemum blossoms in a fenced garden, all below a band of reishi heads circling the mouth, underside with Shimazu mon and artist's signature, together with a associated reticulated silver cover stamped jungin.
