A Small Nepalese Carved Stone Stele Depicting Lakshminarayana, 17th Century
Of a pale greenish-grey stone, the composite crowned figure of Vishnu and Lakshmi standing with eight arms arrayed with various accoutrements, on a lotus stand, flanked by the vehicles of a tortoise and Garuda, modern base.
Stone: 14 3/4 in., 37.5 cm.
