A Rare Chinese Cast Iron "Arrow Vase", Touhu, Yuan-Ming Dynasty

Yuan-Ming Dynasty
Molded with a phoenix to one side, chrysanthemums to the other.
Note:
Vases of this form in cast iron are rare, they are much more typical in bronze. The use of cast iron, particularly for sculpture and larger items from the late 15th to early 16th century, may be illustrated by the several figures found in the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto.
