Porcelain Kangxi Period (1662-1722), the Mounts Late 19th/Early 20th Century
Each ovoid jar painted to the exterior with magpies in flight above flowering prunus trees, all against a celadon ground, mounted on a circular base decorated with face masks above s-shape legs ending in scroll feet, further on a shaped plinth, the reticulated cover with 'basket weave' design surmounted by a bud-form finial.
Overall height 15 in., 38.1 cm.
