A Japanese Porcelain "Waves" Vase, Shofu Katei, and a "Moon in Bamboo" Dish, Seifu Yohei III
The slightly bellied vase elegantly modeled with crashing waves, underside with artist's signature in underglaze blue; the circular dish painted in underglaze blue with a full moon in low relief seen through bamboo leaves, additional "over the wall" leaves to underside, incised Seifu.
Vase height 5 in., 12.7 cm.; Dish diameter 8 1/4 in., 21 cm.
