A Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Incense Burner, Qianlong Period Mark and Period
清乾隆 銅胎掐絲琺瑯纏枝蓮三足爐 ’乾隆年製·千‘款
Qianlong Period (1735-1796)

The compressed body raised on three shaped supports, with twin loop handles, decorated with a leafy lotus scroll picked out in red and white, amidst dense scrolling leaves, below a ruyi-head border, the underside inscribed with the four-character mark in a line above a fifth character, qian.
Height 2 15/16 x Diameter 4 5/16 in., 7.5 x 11 cm.

Property from the Estate of Dan Parmalee Eells (1825–1903), thence by descent.
