A finely carved vase of elegant form, adorned in high relief with a dynamic scene of chilong frolicking amidst stylized clouds across the front and sides. The base is artfully designed with a stylized openwork "lingzhi" branch motif. The domed cover is surmounted by a mandarin duck holding a lotus blossom in its beak.
