The bracelet is comprised of a larger 'mother bead' and 19 smaller beads, stored in a fitted tin bi disc-shaped covered box inscribed with flowering prunus branches and characters, signed Weiyang Zhang Zhenyuan.

按《清秘藏》：“凡琪楠、沉水等香，居常以錫盒盛，諸香花蜂蜜養之，則氣味尤美，其盒中格置香，花開時雜以諸香花，下格置蜜，上施蓋焉，中格必穿數孔，如龍眼大，所以使蜜氣上升也，蜜一斤，用沉香四兩，細剉如小赤豆大，和勻用之，則所養之香，百倍市肆中者矣。”
