Formed from a solid block of opaque milky white glass overlaid with a layer of turquoise glass to the mouth and a layer of ruby red glass carved through to the wide shoulders decorated with taotie masks, the walls tapering to two rows of ruby red lotus petals skirting the foot, the base in the form of a large turquoise lots leave incised with a four-character Qianlong mark and of the period.
