The exterior of each wide, c-shaped bracelet is decorated with raised central ridges, and small holes at the flat termini for threading.

每節呈困環狀，中間開口，外壁中部凸有周棱，內壁平直，材料取自中原，鮮卑族加工鑄鍛而成。這類器物只發現於女性墓中，很可能是漢代鮮卑族婦女特有的裝飾物。參見中國國家博物館藏1980年吉林省榆樹縣老河深出土銅臂甲，及雲南省博物館藏古滇國金臂甲。
