Northeast China, Xianbei Tribe, Han Dynasty (202 BC–220 AD)
The exterior of each wide, c-shaped bracelet is decorated with raised central ridges, and small holes at the flat termini for threading.
Note:
Compared to the example excavated from Laoheshen, Yushu Town, Jilin province in 1980.
每節呈困環狀,中間開口,外壁中部凸有周棱,內壁平直,材料取自中原,鮮卑族加工鑄鍛而成。這類器物只發現於女性墓中,很可能是漢代鮮卑族婦女特有的裝飾物。參見中國國家博物館藏1980年吉林省榆樹縣老河深出土銅臂甲,及雲南省博物館藏古滇國金臂甲。
