Paris: The Black Sun Press, 1931. First edition, #9/500 numbered copies on Lafuma paper (from a total of 544). 8vo. Caresse Crosby's "Le Moulin du Soleil Ermenoville Oise" calling card laid in; original printed wrap-around band laid in, noting this as a "Presentation Copy". Title-page and text printed in black and in red. Publisher's red and white cloth-covered boards, printed paper spine label, scattered soiling and rubbing, loss at bottom of paper spine label; gift inscription in purple ink on front free endpaper: "To Helen, In Paris–Sept 1931-Alors--Alfred"; offsetting on front blank; intermittent wear to gutters.
