(New York): Multiples, Inc. in association with Colocraft, Inc., 1970. First edition (one of only about 1,200 copies). Comprising 18 (of 19) multiples, in various formats, by various artists; lacking the multiple by Jan Dibbets (perspective correction--5 piles). With square 12mo text booklet by Lawrence Alloway. Condition varies, generally near-fine to fine. In original Dan Graham-designed pictorial box, 13 x 13 x 3 5/8 in. (330 x 330 x 92 mm). Includes:

A fine and near-complete collection of this scarce boxed exhibition featuring the work of some of the mid-20th century's most notable conceptual and avant-garde artists. Founded in 1965 by Marian Goodman, Barbara Kulicke, Robert Graham, Sonny Sloan, and Ursula Kalish, Multiples, Inc., published on a more affordable scale limited edition multiples, prints, and books by the leading artists of the 1960s and beyond.
Complete sets are uncommon to market, especially those that retain the multiples by Rauschenberg and Tom Gormley.
