A Near Pair of French Provincial Painted Fauteuils
18th/19th Century
Each with a curved crest rail over padded back and rush seat, the frames painted in a French blue, the loose seat cushions covered in a red, blue and taupe checked ribbed upholstery; the slightly larger example stamped 'PSHP' to the reverse of the crest rail.
Height 35 1/4 x width 24 1/4 x depth 19 inches, overall, the slightly larger example.
