Two Wedgwood 'Daventry' Lustre Imperial Bowls
Circa 1925

Having exterior ruby and blue panels decorated with a panoramic Chinese-style landscape and floral motifs. Yellow lustre interior overprinted with crimson thorn diaper. Central motif of a Chinese garden bridge leading to a pagoda-roofed house, surrounded by trees and flowers. Border of gilt fretwork ornament, separated by floral sprigs, around both sides of the rim. Rothwell bead decoration around the foot rim.
Largest diameter 6 1/2 inches.
