A near complete run of this important Surrealist magazine. Published in Paris between 1933-1939, Minotaure was a Surrealist oriented magazine with contributions from Salvador Dali, George Bataille, and Paul Éluard, and featuring cover designs by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Henri Matisse, among others. Founded by Albert Skira with editors André Breton and Pierre Mabille, the magazine aimed to bring Surrealistic ideas to a wider audience. The magazine ceased publication in 1939 due to the outbreak of WWII.
