[Venice: Aldus Manutius, 1502]. First Aldine edition. 8vo. 222 (of 296) leaves: lacking 2a-i8, sig. G4 and 2C4 [colophon]; 2A-B8, 2C4 without signatures and bound out of order. Greek and Roman types. Woodcut Aldine device [e8] bound out of order at end. Later vellum parchment; a few wormholes to title and woodcut device, title repaired at outer margin, some marginal toning or staining; some early marginalia; Bibliot.
