Early crimson morocco, covers blindstamped with a coat of arms (Normandy?) with two leopards within shield flanked by 8 scallops?, 3 raised bands; extremities rubbed, heel worn, old vertical repair near fore-edge of covers; some stains to title, marginal toning; early marginalia and notations at rear; Adams A-279; Brunet 1:78; Sorgeloos 10.
