Paris: Sazerac et Duval, G. Engelmann, Gihaut, 1824. Mixed edition. 4to. Illustrated with 17 hand-colored lithographs; plates I and III supplied from Wattier's Le Progres de Seduction (1833). Full red cloth, stamped in gilt; foxing and soiling to plates; scattered repairs along edges; final three plates loose.
Very scarce mixed edition of this charming series of hand-colored lithographed plates after drawings by Émile Wattier (1800-1868), depicting the love affair of a young woman.
