Lot includes one bifolium maquette from same work with pen and watercolor illustrations by Landau (signed), and mounted printed text with manuscript layout directions and annotations. Also included are three pen and watercolor illustrations on three sheets, by Landau (two signed), for the same work, as well as three signed woodcuts by Landau.

Also includes one first edition copy of the work, lacking dust-jacket.

An original maquette by Philadelphia-born artist Jacob Landau (1917-2001) of his illustrations for Barbee Oliver Carelton's The Wonderful Cat of Cobbie Bean, a tale of witchcraft and magic set in Salem, Massachusetts.
