Lot comprised of 5 stereoviews, including:

Group Siouxs [sic]. Stereoview from the American and Foreign Views "New Educational Series." Lacking his imprint but by F. Jay Haynes, Fargo, Dakota Territory, showing "Noted Sioux Indian Chiefs," as titled on a different example, with the subjects identified as Hump, Rain in the Face, Gall, Low Dog, Running Antelope, and Spotted Eagle, taken at Fort Yates on the Standing Rock Reservation, Dakota, in the summer of 1881. Note that Rain-In-The-Face is holding a cabinet card, perhaps his own likeness, previously taken by Haynes. Modern penciled notation on verso. -- Winona. St. Paul, MN: Upton. Stereoview of a young Sioux woman at camp. Applied paper label on verso with "Upton's Minnesota and Northwestern Views" imprint and list of titles from the series.
