[LINCOLNIANA - CIVIL WAR]. Illustrated lettersheet with soldier's letter.
Illustrated lettersheet, 4 1/2 x 8 in. featuring bearded Lincoln three-quarter portrait in black ornamental frame with eagle and flags, surmounting "Lincoln" below portrait. MILGRAM AL-134, a design fairly common as covers, but lettersheets are more unusual.
4pp, bifolium, unsigned, soldier's letter appears incomplete (small ears, adhesive repairs). "Camp Snow's Pond near Walton, Ky. Sunday Oct. 5th 186[?]." Soldier describes general camp life, marching, and other details of his regiment.
