Various Makers, Circa 1790-1805
comprising sugar tongs, by maker "I. Rice," with acorn-form bowls, engraved with navette-form cartouche bearing monogram, "GCS," marked; a sugar tongs, by "W&W" (?), with acorn-form bowls, engraved with navette-form cartouche bearing monogram, "ELA," marked; a sugar tongs, by William Haverstick (1756-1823), Sr. or William Haverstick, Jr. (1780-1859), Lancaster or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, circa 1805, the sides engraved with flowering tulips, bearing monogram, "JMK," marked; and a sugar tongs, by "T. Milne" and "S. White," with acorn-form bowls, engraved with navette-form cartouche bearing monogram, "EF," marked.
