8vo. 8 inserted plates by A. d'Aguilcourt. (Light spotting to title-page and occasional text.) Original pictorial blue cloth stamped in red and silver, all edges silver (some spotting to covers, small stain on lower cover, light rubbing to fore-corners and edges). Provenance: Convent of Notre Dame, Ashdown Park (embossed stamp and notation on recto of frontispiece); Fifth Form Library (presentation inscription on front free endpaper).

FIRST EDITION.
