16 volumes, 8vo. Title-pages printed in red and in black; engraved illustrations throughout. Contemporary mottled tan calf, red and blue morocco spine labels, decorated in gilt (scattered rubbing and wear, joints dry). Provenance: Thomas Wharton (armorial bookplate on front paste-down of each volume).
