8vo. Original heathered blue cloth stamped in green and blue, top edge stained green; dust jacket (slight toning, some chipping to edges with a few short tears, a few minor scuffs).
FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, with the Viking logo on the half-title. IN FIRST-STATE DUST JACKET with Hank Krangler's photographer credit on rear flap. Kesey's second novel is considered by critics to be his best work, despite the popularity of his first novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
