Small 4to. Numerous illustrations in color by Chapman and Street. Original black cloth lettered in gold, upper cover with color pictorial label; dust jacket (spine and flaps reinforced on verso, some chipping at spine ends and fore-corners). Provenance: author's inscription dated Christmas 1923.
FIRST EDITION stated on copyright and with the code "I-X". INSCRIBED BY ZANE GREY: "To Alan(?), with many remembrances of your good influence in my literary career, Zane Grey." Myers, p.4.
