8vo. (Some occasional spotting.) Original lime green cloth (light rubbing at edges); dust jacket (price-clipped, spine sunned). Provenance: Alberta C. Trimble (recipient of author's inscription, LOA from a descendant laid in).
FIRST EDITION. INSCRIBED BY DURRELL WITH AN ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR on the front free endpaper: "For Mrs. Trimble, with every good wish and the hope that she revisits Cyprus, Larry Durrell, Bellapaix Abbey, Cyprus."
