Folio. With an original leaf from the Nuremberg Chronicle, laid in as issued. Original drab boards, pictorial paper label on upper cover (spine worn, few stains and soiling to covers).

A SPECIAL COPY CONTAINING THE MOST FAMOUS ILLUSTRATION FROM THE NUREMBERG CHRONICLE: THE DANCE OF DEATH ("DANSE MACABRE"): a single leaf, folio (432 x 286 mm), half-page wood-cut illustration after Michael Wolgemut, p.
