the domed cornice with ball finials, the glazed door opening to the steel dial with Roman numeral hours and Arabic numeral minutes, further set with a seconds dial and date aperture, signed John Pratt/ Dover, the straight trunk fitted with a door and inlaid to show paterae and a shell, raised on bracket feet.
