Double-Button Long Shank Iron Spurs, with Sioux Beaded Straps
late 19th century
each with a 20-point rowel and not marked; hide straps, thread-sewn and beaded with a star design in colors of cobalt, greasy yellow, and white
spur length 6-1/2 inches
The spurs are possibly by August Buermann with a similar example listed in Buermann's catalog #35, page 46, #1276.
