2 7/8 x 3 7/8 in. loose tintype featuring a large tent with framed portraits hanging on the front and a woman, possibly the traveling photographer or the photographer's wife, seated just outside of the opening. Two young girls stand on either side of her, possibly her daughters.

A modern note accompanying the image identifies the location as "next to the barn at Mrs. Patterson's House - Gettysburg PA," though this cannot be confirmed.
