Lot Description
[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. 2 cameras made by E. & H.T. Anthony, including the Victor and Champion. Ca late 1880s.
The Victor, ca 1889-1891. Mahogany folding view camera, 5 x 8 in. The 3-lever stop lens with front focus is marked "Darlot, Paris." 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. when extended.
The Champion, ca 1888. Mahogany, half plate field camera, 6 1/2 x 4 1/4 in. Barrel lens is marked "R. O. Co." 9 x 8 x 7 1/4 in. when extended.
