Overall length 36". 5.5" cast gilt brass hilt screw secured knuckle bow and floral decorations in face of guard and a spanner nut pommel cap. Leather covered wood grip with 15 wraps of multi-strand twisted wire. Blade etched with geometric, floral, martial and patriotic themes with a large US on the reverse and a panoply of arms on the obverse. A thin scalloped leather throat washer is in place on the face of the guard. Includes a brass mounted leather scabbard.
