**CMP M1 Garand Rifle with WWII Dated Barrel and Uncut Operating Rod
World War II
.30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 3682524. Parkerized finish with walnut semi-pistol grip stock and full length upper handguard mounting late-war pattern T105 style rear and front sight with protectors. Long stroke piston driven semi-automatic rifle fed by an internal magazine charged with stripper clips. Receiver maker marking reads U.S. RIFLE/CAL. 30M1/SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY. Barrel date marking reads 3 S A 4 45, indicating it was made by Springfield Armory in April, 1945. The serial number indicates the rifle was finished in April, 1945. SA marked operating rod is uncut, correct for WWII era rifles. Trigger housing marked D28290-7-SA with trigger marked C46008-5 SA. Bolt shows a punch dot pressure proof marking over D28287-19SA/0-17. Operating rod reads D35382 6 SA. Stock has been replaced and shows a circle P to wrist and {Defense Acceptance Stamp} to left side. Comes with a post-war 1907 pattern sling stamped US. {C&R}
