Three Civil War Artillery Projectiles: 12 Pound Solid Shot and Two Hotchkiss Shells
American Civil War
1) 12 Pound Solid Shot with wood sabot. Nominally 4.5" in diameter with 4.55" wood sabot. Metal straps may be period, wood sabot is a modern reproduction. Shot may be dug.
2) Dug 3" Hotchkiss Shell. Nominally 5.75" tall and 2.8" in diameter. Disarmed and empty. Missing base cup with well worn lead sabot. Metal with applied coating.
3) Dug 3" Hotchkiss Shell. Nominally 5.75" tall and 3" in diameter. Disarmed and empty. Missing base cup with well worn lead sabot.
