Four Excavated Civil War Cannonballs: 2 Solid and 2 Spherical Case
American Civil War
1) Dug CS 12 Pound Spherical Case Shot. Nominally 4.5" in diameter. Disarmed and empty. Mounted on a wooden display stand with brass label plaque.
2) Dug 12 Pouch Solid Shot. Nominally 4.5" in diameter. Painted label says it was excavated at Dalton, GA.
3) Dug 6 Pound Spherical Case Shot. Nominally 3.5" in diameter. Painted label says it was removed in the Richmond, VA area.
4) Dug 4 Pound Solid Shot. Nominally 3" in diameter.
This lot includes two round shot wood display bases, as well as the one attached to the #12 CS Case Shot.
