Group of Powder Flasks & a Kittredge Cartridge Box
American Civil War
1) Peace Flask by Batty. Nominally 8"x4.25", not including the spout. Charger top marked BATTY/SPRINGFIELD, MASS. and dated 1858. Top with script WAT and ADK inspection marks. Mounted with two brass suspension rings.
2) Peace Flask by American Flask Company. Likely intended for militia use or sale to the states. Nominally 7.5"x4.25", not including the spout. Charger top marked AM FLASK & CAP CO.
3) Pocket Revolver Eagle & Stars motif flask, nominally 3.25"X1.75", not including the spout. Possibly for Remington Beals pocket revolvers.
4) Brass mounted horn powder flask. Nominally 7" in length by 1.25" wide, not counting the spout. Unmarked with an adjustable spout.
5) Brass cartridge box for the Wesson and/or Henry Rifle. Spring closure lid marked in three lines: B KITTREDGE & Co CIN. O/PATENTED JAN. 27. 1863./REISSUED APL. 14. 63.
