Item is engraved with game scenes to all flat surfaces surrounded by spiral scroll with floral bouquets and sunbursts to hingepin and lever. Matching engraving to the edges of the barrel and metal components of forend. Toe of the stock fitted with a silver oval plate displaying the initials J.S.R. Barrel rib is signed RICHARD MARHOLDT with both flanks of the upper barrel further engraved BOHLER STAHL. Forend is frozen and cannot be removed for inspection.
