The M for Monogram marking is struck into the jeweled barrel flats below the serial number, and on the watertables. The frame, sideplates, and rear barrels are richly engraved with Rose and Scroll pattern typically encountered on Monogram grades, with flying birds to each sideplate, and a duck on the lower frame. Inlaid gold S for Safe below the blued and engraved tang safety. The triggerguard features a gold inlaid signature reading Albert Daub, with the toe lacking an oval plate. Forend is engraved EJECTOR/PATD/MAY 28 1901 with a further number 2 engraved behind the forward screw. Left side of the trigger plate is engraved HUNTER ONE TRIGGER with L and R marks below the selector.
