Lot Description
*Cut Down Single Action Army Patterned After A Fitz Special
.44 Special (Marked on barrel. .45 Caliber Cylinder). 2.5" barrel length. SN: 176902. Blued metal refinish with polished hammer mounting sanded two piece wood grips with REM-UMC/45 COLT medallions in both panels. Single action six-shot hand ejector revolver with the barrel cut down obscuring most of the address and model marks, and mounting no front sight. Forward triggerguard has been cut off and polished in the fashion of a Fitz Special. Hammer lacks firing pin. Note: while the serial number corresponds to an 1898 date of production, according to ATF requirements, these modifications to the configuration render it an FFL item.
WARNING: The pairing of a .45 Caliber cylinder with a .44 barrel renders this item unsafe to shoot. {MODERN}
