Lot Description
Chris Reeve Knives Large Sebenza 31 Inlay with Madagascar Ebony Grips and Box
3.5" blade length. 4.75" hilt. Straight single edge drop point folding linerlock knife with matte stainless steel finish to bolster edges, polished flats, and mounting polished Madagascar Ebony grip panels. Left bolster shows the CR monogram of knifemaker Chris Reeve with the right marked IDAHO MADE. Item comes with a nylon lanyard, and its original box with flyers, leather pouch, and the Chris Reeve Knives certificate dated November 24, 2020.
Chris Reeve began making knives full time out of his garage in Durban, South Africa on January 1, 1984. An experienced tool and die maker, Reeve applied his understanding of modern machine tools to knifemaking, and became best known for his hollow-handle tactical and survival knives. Reeve moved to the United States in 1989, and began manufacturing his knives in Idaho, with this being a quite recent example of the excellent folding knives for which he is well known today.
